Class Descriptions

Beginner Yoga

This is the perfect place for a beginner to start learning the nuts and bolts of yoga. Learn basic Hatha yoga poses such as Triangle, Warrior, Downward Dog, etc. as well as breathing and relaxation techniques. No experience necessary.

Vinyasa

Energize the body and cultivate a meditative mind by deepening the connection between conscious breathing and the movement of the body. This flowing style of yoga can be vigorous and physically challenging.

Yoga Flow

This flowing, multi-level class includes traditional and organic exploration of asana with emphasis on establishing inner connections and fluidity. Each class is unique and often focuses on a specific area of the body and/or movement quality.

Restorative Yoga

Take time for yourself. In this deeply rejuvenating class you will receive the benefits of a full yoga practice without exerting any effort. With the use of bolsters, blankets, and other props the body is completely supported in passive backbends, forward bends, twists and inversions. You'll leave class with a relaxed body, calm mind, and a reserve of energy for the start of your week. Space is limited, reserve your spot early.

You will:

  • Relax deeply with the support of Amy's guidance, meditative music and yoga props
  • Discover new places of tension in the body and gentle, supportive ways to release them
  • Improve your overall health through increased breath and body awareness
